Ionamin is a drug called appétit suppressant, which means that it helps suppress the appetite. It can be use for only a short time – few weeks. Ionamin side effects

Possible side effects include:      Changes in sex drive, dry mouth, exaggerated feelings of depression or elation, headache, constipation, diarrhea, dizziness, high blood pressure, hives, impotence, inability to fall or stay asleep, restlessness, stomach or intestinal problems, throbbing heartbeat, tremors, unpleasant taste, increased heart rate, and overstimulation.

Why should Ionamin not be prescribed?

Do not take if you are allergic or have had allergic reaction to phentermine hydrochloride or other drugs that stimulate the nervous system.

Inform your doctor if take any other drugs (both prescription and over the counter).

Do not take medicine if you are agitated, have ever abused drugs, or have taken a Mao inhibitor, including antidepressant within the last 14 days.

Also avoid this medicine if you have glaucoma, hypertension, hyperthyroidism and symptoms of heart or blood vessel disease.
